Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Orvante ("Orvante," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Orvante mobile application and related services (the "App"). Orvante is operated by an individual based in the State of Georgia, United States.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into these Terms.

2. The Service

Orvante is a personal astrology and self-guidance application. It uses your birth details and automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate astrological charts, readings, predictions, remedies, guidance, and chat responses.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

• The App offers a paid subscription that unlocks its full features.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
• All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies, not by Orvante. Please direct refund requests to the relevant store.

5. Not Professional Advice

Orvante is provided for general guidance, entertainment, and self-reflection only. The content, including charts, predictions, remedies, and chat responses, is generated by astrological methods and automated systems and is not professional advice. Orvante does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and nothing in the App should be treated as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the App. Any decisions you make are your own responsibility.

6. Assumption of Risk

You understand and agree that you use the App and rely on its content entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the App, and for any resulting outcomes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse the App; attempt to access it in unauthorized ways; reverse engineer, copy, or resell it; upload unlawful or harmful content; or use it in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, design, and software, is owned by Orvante and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for your own personal use. Content generated for you is for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orvante will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) twenty U.S. dollars ($20).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orvante from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Binding Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver

• Agreement to arbitrate. You and Orvante agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. This agreement to arbitrate is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
• Class-action waiver. You and Orvante agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
• Waiver of jury trial. You and Orvante waive any right to a jury trial.
• Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing orvante.app@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and that you wish to opt out.

If any part of this Section 12 is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply, except that the class-action waiver is not severable — if it is found unenforceable, this entire Section 12 will not apply.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 12. Subject to Section 12, any disputes not subject to arbitration will be handled in the courts located in the State of Georgia.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
